My granduncle survived a stroke and he is still alive, his memory is considerably well with the treatment he recieved. He can shuffle, but mostly uses a cane. My friend had a stroke, and passed on three years ago, when he was 23 years old.

2 yrs. ago at the age of 37, I had a stroke. It affected my whole right side and I was paralyzed for a short time.Luckily, with rehab %26 Lovenox shots I was able to regain most of strength. I still have other side effects though...mostly mental wise but each day gets better with practice.glad to hear that your uncle is doing well.
It all depends on what kind of damage was caused by the stroke. Some people recover completely some do not. etc.
my grandpa is just recovering fron a stroke...theyre bad. he uses a cane to and is on medication and has to go to the hospital alot for tests and stuff like that
