Dark Circles Under the EyesMyths:Nothing can be done to improve dark circles under the eyes. Facts:Dark circles can in some cases be eliminated. Overview:Dark circles under the eyes have always been considered a sign of late nights and lack of sleep. The cause of these dark circles is often blamed on stress, too much sun, too little sleep, menstrual disorders, kidney dysfunction and even too many fried, frozen and canned foods, although it is often a hereditary trait. Circles under the eyes can worsen in people who smoke or suffer from allergies. In western medicine, the kidneys are connected to the adrenal glands and with stress levels in life being so high, these glands are very often exhausted. When these glands are weakened, allergies are prevalent. Dark circles under the eyes are known to be a classic symptom of an allergy, together with a host of other signs including edema and fatigue. It may help to meet with a nutritionist/allergist to rule out foods and allergens that may be contributing to this condition.According to Chinese Medicine, dark circles under the eyes relate to our kidneys, which are seen as the foundation of our vitality. Sufficient sleep is one of the simplest remedies recommended. Symptoms:Dark circles under the eyes. Causes:Causes include:
Hereditary
Allergies
Stress
Lack of sleep
Adrenal exhaustion
Kidney energetic deficiency (Chinese Medicine)
Poor diet
I find that yellow concealer works well, its meant to hide dark skin imperfections.
Along with lots of water I find minimizes them.
I was able to diminish dark circles to the point of no longer needing concealer, by using the following isotonics: antioxidants, multi-vitamin, calcium and vitamin C. Great nutrition is often difficult in our hectic lives, so supplements can really help when we need it.
There are many causes of dark circles, from age, heredity, allergies, cold or sinus infection, bone structure and glasses which are not so commonly known.

If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water %26 stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath %26 let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K %26 Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.http://www.mydarkcirclesblog.com/2007/01... To hide dark circles, you can use YSL concealer or salmon concealer..

My wife and her sisters heard about a product from a friend that worked for them. She told me "I don't want the Italian dark eye circles anymore, now I don't". I noticed her eyes were much lighter in a couple months. She gets her eye cream from this website.
