Any ways to reduce appearance of scars?! Please answer!?

I have 2 scars on my face from mole removal.. is there anything anyone would reccommend to reduce the appearance and help them blend in with my skin?My demetologist says he doesnt think any of them work, and people had reccommended pure vitamin E to me, but he says he has found this to actually make the scar worse on some patients! I was just wondering has any scar treatment like bio-oil or mederma worked for anyone else's scars?
Answer:
Silicone sheeting will improve the scar's appearance. You can buy it at the grocery store now. Use faithfully everyday for at least 3 months for best results. It is better to cover it at night while you sleep. These sheets can be reused over and over. Wash with mild soapy water. You can hold them on with bandaids. I think they have bandaids for burns that have silicone on it as well.
Mederma works really well. It doesn't get rid of the scar but reduces the appearance so don't have unrealistic expectations. Microdermabrasion
even complection essence by mary kay is about 35.00 for a bottle and it works I sell the stuff and use it and it helped my stretch marks and lightened my freckles, good luck
Vitamin E oil might help; it is certainly worth a short trial. Also, MSM cream has helped some people.
