Has any ladies still given birth vaginally even though they suffer from genital herpes? or did you have a c-section.I want to give birth vaginally but i am scared i will be having an outbreak and pass it on to my baby.PLEASE HELP!

kystik83 is completely correct. My sister has three children and has given birth vaginally despite having genital herpes. Unless you show symptoms at the time of birth you are fine. If you have regular outbreaks they may give you suppressive therapy leading up to the birth to help prevent you having an outbreak.One in four women have genital herpes, so imagine how many give birth naturally to healthy babies every day. Don't worry too much.
I think its best to have a c-section, u will pass it on to the baby

I gave birth to 4 healthy babies over the years and never passed it onto them.
I was told by my doctor as long as I was not exhibiting symptoms prior to delivery everything would be OK. You are the only one that can make that decision because you are the only one that can tell if a outbreak is coming. Listen to your body and don't let anyone scare you out of the delivery you want. Talk to your Doctor about your worries. Good luck
you can still deliver vaginally, that is if you are not having an outbreak otherwise you must have a c-section. usually what happens is your doc will give you anti-viral towards the end of your pregnancy to prevent an outbreak
